Welcome!
The most accurate way to describe the site you've ventured uppon at this moment might be 'a blog'. But then again, the owner and maintainer of the site
doesn't really like blogs. He doesn't read many blogs, he doesn't lurk the blogosphere, he doesn't want to be 'part of the community'. On the other hand,
he likes to share with stuff. Be it knowledge, opinions, new stuff, old stuff, and generally that what he finds interesting.
Short news: In other news, I'm lazy to write articles. Someone should kick my ass.
Figure review - Canaan by Good Smile
No, I'm definitely not stopping. It's just too tempting. Like an addiction. Yes, I'm talking about buying these plastic models of girls. I'm hopeless! Nonetheless, when I saw a recent sale at Hobby Link Japan, it was a no-brainer. Canaan had 40% off, plus a 50% discount for EMS shipping... That was too much to refuse. So here she is!

Austrian Open Riichi Tournament - winner!
I have somehow managed to win the Austrian Open Riichi Tournament in Vienna this Sunday. I will probably pay for this in due time with some bad luck in whatever else comes my way. But I'll enjoy the egotrip until then! More coverage at osamuko.com, more photos in the gallery.

Pohoda Festival 2010
Well well well. An update after some months. This time, unlike last year, I will be giving a more broad view about this year's Pohoda festival (since no tents collapsed, hooray!)

Figure review - Kokutou Azaka by Movic
Figure review - Marisa Kirisame Rev. TOKIAME
Happy new year! What a nice present to start the year with, won't you agree? This figure was in my sight since a long time ago. Then, AmiAmi put it on stock back in November I think, and I couldn't resist.
Figure review - Candy Boy figures by Good Smile Company
And as promised, November brought another wonderful addition to my evergrowing collection of evil money-sucking collectables from the land of the rising sun. I have never before ordered more than one figure at a time, so I was curious how this will go. And of course, the Sakurai sisters from the Candy Boy OVA had a rough time in customs.
What can I do, first time this happened. HLJ sent the package through customs, and so I had to pay the 19% VAT, that means 19€ (Yeah, the order was 99.2€). But still, it was worth it I guess.
