Happy new year! What a nice present to start the year with, won't you agree? This figure was in my sight since a long time ago. Then, AmiAmi put it on stock back in November I think, and I couldn't resist.

This is my first Touhou figure, and we'll see if it's the last one (hopefully not). It is really nice, too bad the sun was hidden today, so I had bad lighting (resulting in more shitty photos as usual).

Huge box because of the stand I guess.

First thing I had problems with was the assembly. It came with a illustrated guide (written in moonspeak of course) on how to put all the parts together. It took some effort, but I made it. Although I will probably have to use sandpaper to fix the hand connection, because it doesn't fit.

The next thing that struck me was, that her position wasn't like on the promo images - she's more leaned back, even when I skew the star lamp to the bottom (you can move it around and up/down).

But the sculpting is great. It's very detailed, the face is not ugly, the clothes are fine and even the broom is awesome.

The light itself does not shine too much, just a dim blue light, powered by two AA batteries (not included of course).

Just look at those boots, just look at them!

This stuff also came in the package - AmiAmi gift card (I should insert it somewhere, so no use to me here), pentagram stickers (I guess better touhoufags than myself could tell me what exactly they are) and an inflatable Hakkero. Really nice.

I forgot about the hat - it's removable and it has a magnet inside, so it doesn't fall off even in that weird angle she's sitting in.

Conclusion - I like this one. It's stylish, pretty and a nice decoration. In a few weeks, Azaka should arrive, and then I'll have a break from buying figures - untill something extraordinary will be released.
