Sandisk Sansa Fuze

So, I forgot to write about this when I bought it, but here goes anyway. For some weeks now I've been walking around with a Sandisk Sansa Fuze player in my pocket. I wanted a new player, since my old Sencor broke (fallen on the pavement -> broken display... Sucks). I used my Sony Ericsson K800i, but that thing only has 1GB of memory, so I just decided to buy something bigger.

My requirements were very similar to the old Sencor player - I wanted it to play mp3, ogg and flac, be able to upload stuff on it without any shitty synchronisation software (no Sony Soundforge, no gaiTunes) and it should have enough space. I saw reviews on this little guy somewhere on the boards, and when I discovered that it already supported ogg and flac with the new firmware, the deal was made.

I also made a nice tradeoff - instead of buying the 8GB version for 97 euros, I bought the 2GB version for 64 euros plus an 8GB SHDC card for 23 euros, having a total of 10GB for 10 euros less than the 8 GB model.

It looks nice, it has pretty simple controls with the wheel and the display is nicely readable. First I had some issues with the sound, so I had to equalize a bit, but it's OK now. Recharges through USB, which has a nonstandard port, but I am used to that from the Sony Ericsson phones already.

I think it is nice, and I hope I won't break it that fast.
