Figure review - BOME Saber

From now on, since I determined to post about stuff I like, I'll be also posting about my weird hobbies. One of them is collecting figures. I'll start off with the first larger scale figure I bought - Saber by BOME. It was back in 2008, I think october or so, in Wienna's Runch shop (the site is atm offline, wonder why). Their prices are bad, don't buy stuff there. But I was too overwhelmed by this one, I just wanted it. So I got it for too much, but doesn't matter.

The figure is a 1/7 scale and for it's original price (~25 dollars) it is very nice. Most of the BOME collection figures are pretty well made and come in reasonable prices also, so they are a very nice starting item.

Saber comes with her two swords - Excalibur on the right (which she can wield) and Caliburn on the left (this one doesn't fit in her hand because of it's handle end - although I've seen photos with it, like for example on Danny Choo or uselessthoughts - but I'm too afraid not to break her thumb). They are very nicely detailed.

The figure itself is pretty nicely detailed, and I like it. The armor parts are not castoffable, but they are only loosely attached to make it look as armor on top of clothes.

I like her face too. I've seen some Sabers that don't have really fitting faces. You might notice some details on the breastplate that are not really 100% well done, but it's a cheap fig. Ahoge ftw.

Since this was my first figure and it started this evil (and expensive) addiction, I will probably like her forever. Next time I'll write something about GSC Ryuogi Shiki,
